🚀 NVIDIA-Hosted Open Hackathon

🗓 Deadline: Feb 4, 2026
📅 Event Dates: Apr 28 – May 7, 2026
📍 Hybrid (virtual + in-person components)
🧑‍🔬 Open to students, researchers, and developers (priority for NCAR, NREL & NOAA affiliates)

Hosted in collaboration with NVIDIA and the OpenACC organization, this multi-day open hackathon pairs teams with expert mentors to port, accelerate, and optimize real scientific applications on cutting-edge CPU and GPU architectures. You’ll get hands-on guidance, access to modern supercomputing resources, and leave with either measurable performance gains or a clear roadmap for next steps — no prior hackathon experience required, just a project you want to level up.
